Project Concept / Explored a variety of architectural strategies for the clients sloping, wooded site. The primary design medium for the exploration was small scale lazer-cut models. This allowed for a broad study of different formal/vernacular strategies with a minimal amount of time and expense. The models very quickly allowed the client to understand strategies of: site grading, building placement, access to site, formal strategies, programmatic organization and vernacular approaches.
